If you find the theme a bit dark or would like to experiment with other themes. There are a few available for you to try. In orer to try a different "look" for your forum (only you see the changes) do the following.
Once logged in on the main page select Profiles, click on it. In the left column you will see a selection Look and Layout Preferences, click on this selection. Under your profile you will see a selection current theme. You can click on change theme and select one from the list presented. You can switch around to find one you like or simply use the default theme.
Enjoy some of the new themes. They don't always reflect the golden Gate VCOA banner, but offer a different look and feel.
