Hi Everyone,

Join long time VCOA club member Jon Manji to experience a lecture and demonstration based on his long experience on how to prepare your car for a car show. With Spring ready to Spring, and car club events and shows just weeks away, this is a great opportunity to learn what judges are looking for when evaluating your “rolling” vehicle entry against others. Jon is a member of many car clubs and has also served as a judge at various car shows for years, so please come and take advantage of his knowledge and experience. A few Volvo’s will be available after the lecture to allow Jon to demonstrate his teachings on actual vehicles.

Hi Everyone,

Our first event of the year will be with Peter Mausolf at Volvo Independent Service in Rancho Cordova.  Mark Baldwin is organizing this event as he did last year.

This will be a Q&A type focus where you can fire any question you have to Peter that you might have on front wheel drive Volvos or post-'75 rear wheel drive Volvos,  (This event is open to everyone however!).

As he did last year, Peter may put your car on a lift to better demonstrate his answers to your questions or to make comments from a visual perspective.

Here is a look at last year's event:
http://www.sacvolvoclub.org/Home/events/2009-past-events#M3

Meeting location:
Volvo Independent Service
3310 Monier Circle, #1,
Rancho Cordova, CA 95742
http://www.volvois.biz/

Meeting time:
10:00A
The event starts at 10:00 AM and we will go until noon to 1:00 PM or until questions begin to die down, so keep Peter busy by writing down your questions beforehand!  Afterward we will decide on a restaurant in the area for lunch.

To ask questions or RSVP, you can send me an e-mail / PM or contact Jeff Molander on our Event Flyer or Contact Us page.

This information is also posted on the Sac Volvo Club Event Flyer page:
http://www.sacvolvoclub.org/Home/events/event-flyer
(An interactive map and driving direction gadgets can also be found on the Event Flyer page.)

Hope to see you there!

Take care,
